SARANG INSTITUTE OF POLYTECHNIC welcomes all the prospective students, who are interested in pursuing their studies, in 3 Year DIPLOMA Technical Courses.
The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka stipulates a Pass in 10th standard or equivalent examinations :Those Pass in SSLC with minimum 35% in Mathematics & 35% in Science subjects are eligible for admission to FIRST YEAR DIPLOMA COURSE.
The students of Karnataka are required to submit the following Documents at the time of admission:
- S.S.L.C. Marks Card
- Transfer Certificate
- Study Certificate for having studied at least for a period of 5 years in Karnataka.
- SC, ST, Rural, Group-I, Backward Class Certificate. (In case they belong to any one of them)
- Medical Certificate
- I.T.I. Marks Card in original for ITI Passed students
- Income Certificate for Super Neumerary Quota students
The Non-Karnataka students have to produce:
- ELIGIBILITY Certificate issued by Director of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka.
- S.S.L.C. / X Standard Marks Card in original
- Transfer Certificate
The original copies of the above certificates along with Xerox copies have to be submitted at the time of admission.
Selection Criteria & Scholarships:
SARANG INSTITUTE OF POLYTECHNIC encourages candidates with higher scores. Prospective students are also required to appear for an interview as part of the admission process. Admissions are divided into merit seats and management seats. Students are required to take an ENTRANCE Examination conducted by the College in the month of MAY of every Year for merit seat. Minimum qualifying scores for merit seat is an aggregate score of 60% in Entrance Examination. Management seats are allotted on discretion.
Scholarships will be provided for the students who secure highest marks in the examinations and also who secure 100% attendance.
